Our Partners
NBCA partners with area organizations to offer the northern Berkshire community high-quality, year-round classes and workshops in the creative arts. Partner organizations and current programming include:

Berkshire Cultural Resource Center
Ten month lecture series for working artists, beginning in September 2007.

 

Sterling and France Clark Art Institute
Quarterly fine art classes held at the Clark, including life drawing, pastels, en plein air painting, and art history based after-school programming for middle school age children.

Community Access to the Arts
Arts programming for individuals with physical and mental disabilities in collaboration with northern Berkshire agencies such as Berkshire Family and Individual Resources.

The Trustees of Reservations
Quarterly art and nature, family oriented classes held at The Trustees Field Farm property.

Images Cinema
A screenwriting workshop with writer Dan Bessie.

Williams College Museum of Art
Upcoming collaborations include a printmaking workshop for teens inspired by WCMA's February 2008 exhibition of the work of William Kentridge.

Massachusetts Collage of Liberal Arts
MCLA students from the Fine Arts, Performing Arts, and Arts Administration programs volunteer for special events and projects, utilize NBCA as a case study, and occaisionally teach classes as part of their overall degree requirements.
Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation
Week long art and nature programs during school vacation and summer.


North Adams Public Schools
After-school programs, four-week art and nature summer program, and hosting of Brayton Elementary Youth Council.
