Have your cake and eat it too!
a special silent auction of 50 artist-designed objets {cake} d'art.

See NBCA's FAcebook site for cake images.

"Have Your Cake and Eat it, Too" at NBCA's fifth anniversary fundraiser on Monday evening, July 13th, at Mezze Bistro + Bar and theBrowns in Williamstown.  In keeping with the birthday theme, 50 artists have created Objets {Cake} d'Art , 10-inch non-edible sculpted layer cakes that will be auctioned during the party.  From Frank Jackson's signature "cake-on-wheels" to Kevin Leonard's spider-eating wonder, the artists have gone over the top with their donated works. The cakes will be showcased for two weeks before the event at The Milne Library, selected storefronts on Spring Street, and theBrowns in Williamstown, and at Hudson's in North Adams.

The festivities begin at 5:30 pm with a buffet dinner, wine and cash bar at Mezze Bistro + Bar.  At 7PM, the activity moves into theBrowns next door, where guests can indulge in designer cupcakes while finalizing their bids on the cake sculptures displayed throughout the store. Winners will be announced at 8PM.

Tickets for the buffet dinner are $50.00 per person and may be purchased through
NBCA at 413.663.8338.  RSVP deadline is July 6th.  The dessert and silent auction portion of the evening are free and everyone is welcome.
