Preschool (ages 2-5)
Creative Movement with Marafanyi Percussion
May 19 , June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 10am to 11am
Six sessions Tuition $55 for NBCA Members / $65 for non members
Join Marafanyi Percussion for an inspired dance journey with live music accompaniment where we explore different movement landscapes and textures. This is free-form and child-centered dance - not technique based - so there is no right or wrong. We focus on the creative process and highlight each child’s unique expression while exercising problem solving skills and accessing multiple intelligences.
Workshops
Wearable Art: Handmade Paper Jewelry
Sunday, May 18, 2pm to 4pm
Tuition: $45
Instructor: Robin Brickman
Using sculpted paper techniques, participants will make paper jewelry inspired by nature. Robin Brickman, an award-winning illustrator of children's picture books, will lead the group in creating an attractive handmade paper sculpture. Appropriate for adults and teenagers. (Ages 13 and up; ages 11 and 12 are welcome if accompanied by an adult)

Northern Berkshire Creative Arts, a non-profit community arts school founded in 2003, provides a broad range of studio classes and creative arts programming, both traditional and contemporary, to all members of the Northern Berkshires and surrounding communities. NBCA encourages and nurtures the active participation in the arts for all individuals.
